Dr. Janice Wu

Dr Janice Wu qualified from the University of Queensland in Australia with 1st Class Honours. In her final year, she was awarded the prestigious Colgate-UQ Undergraduate Research prize for her team’s research in potentially preventable dental conditions in the West Moreton Emergency Department.
She has received training in multiple dental clinics across Australia, including the Oral Health Centre, Nambour General Hospital and Goondir Health Clinic. She then honed her skills and experience in complex oral and maxillofacial surgery, general anaesthesia and oral medicine during her residency in The Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.
Dr Wu believes that good oral health starts with education. She is passionate about raising oral health awareness especially to those with limited access to dental care. In 2017, she was part of the dental team in an outreach program ‘A Call to Share’ and aided in providing dental care to those living in rural Cambodia.
While Dr Wu enjoys all aspects of dentistry, she is particularly experienced in:

Dr Wu is a sincere and cheerful person. Her gentle demeanour and calm nature eases dental appointments for her patients. She believes in transparency and team work between dentists and patients and will advise nothing but the best option for her valued patients.
Being from Malaysia originally, Dr Wu is extremely fluent in English, Mandarin and Malay; allowing her to communicate complex dental concepts to a diverse range of patients.
