I’ve noticed that one of my teeth has become chipped/cracked and it’s starting to affect both my smile and confidence. Sometimes, I also feel slight sensitivity when eating or drinking, which makes me worry about further damage. I’m unsure if this issue can be treated without something as extensive as a dental crown and I’d prefer a more conservative option if possible. I want to understand the best way to restore my tooth while keeping it natural-looking.

At Ashford Dental Centre, we often help patients restore chipped or cracked teeth without the need for crowns, depending on the severity of the damage. For minor chips or cracks, we typically recommend composite bonding or dental veneers, which are minimally invasive and blend seamlessly with your natural teeth. Our dentists carefully assess the condition to preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as possible while ensuring long-lasting results. If the damage is not extensive, these cosmetic treatments can effectively restore both function and appearance. We always focus on providing personalised, gentle care to achieve the best outcome for your smile.
